CHYNA’S HAIR LOSS
Chyna is a 4-year-old Boxer whom earlier in the
year (2005) started losing the hair on her back.
The condition continued to get worse over several
months.
Before Martin's
K9 Formula.
12 weeks after
Martin's
K9 Formula
Veterinarians diagnosed this as a food allergy
and wanted to do a biopsy and testing that would
have cost thousands of dollars. The second opinion
was that is was a reaction from separation anxiety
that is very common in boxers. Whatever the cause,
the condition was getting worse and after spending
a few thousand dollars had not results.
In June of 2005 Chyna's diet was changed
to Martin's
K9 Formula. We put her on a 14-week program.
With this diet plan, Chyna lost weight, gained muscle,
and has recuperated from her hair loss 100%. On
the left are the pictures of China before Martin's
K9 Formula followed by the 12 weeks after
she was put on Martin's
K9 Formula.
Over One Year later
PRINCESSES RAW NECK & CHERRY FEET
On August 13th 2007, Princess’s owner came
to us asking if we could fix her. Princess is a
3 year old Pit Bull Terrier with serious skin allergies.
The skin under her neck was raw. Her neck was scaled
with dry skin, scabs and cuts. Her coat was very
thin with bald spots and no shine. Her feet were
pink and like the rest of her body, they were itchy
to the touch. As bad as the pictures are, they do
not represent how severe her issues was.
Before Martin's
K9 Formula
Princess’s owners spent a few
thousand dollars trying to find out what was wrong
with her. After several tests, several skin scrapes
and the standard prescription treatment, it was
recommended that she should have more allergy test
that would cost another 3 to 4 thousand dollars.
Princess’s owners where desperately trying
to help her but didn’t have the finances to
pay for more of the same testing that did not find
or solve the problem.
On August 13th 2007, Princess diet
was changed to Martin's
K9 Formula. We put her on a 14-week program.
With this diet plan, Princess gained muscle, and
recuperated from her raw neck, hair loss, itchy
skin and feet. On the left are the pictures of Princess
before Martin's
K9 Formula followed by the 14 weeks after
she was put on Martin's
K9 Formula.
UPDATE: April

MARTINS K9 FORMULA
Martin's K-9 Formula dog food has none of the following
products added: Ethoxiquin, byproducts, pulp, BHA, BHT, beet
pulp, corn bran, animal digest, or Sodium Bentonite (which
is brick dust).
What we love about Martins K9 Formula?
If you have any questions on the dog food, Martin is available
to discuss them with you. You won’t get this with the
large commercial brands. Large commercial brand over advertise
for your business. Unfortunately there is a price to pay.
Often it is in the quality of the food or the quantity.
Although meat is listed as the 1st source of protein, most
of the protein will be from vegetables. This is where the
quality is sacrificed without you knowing.
As for quantity, you will notice the price of the food stay
the same. The size of the bags will shrink. The 50 lbs bag
of food you purchased for $60 is now 30 lbs. The price of
food may go up depending on the economy. But tricking you
with a smaller bag of food for the same price will not happen.
Martins K9 Formula is a GRAIN FREE Food.
NO CORN! NO BEET PULP!
Don’t be fooled with food with Beet Pulp. Look at
your food label. If there is beet pulp in the food, the meat
is not from the best quality. Food with meat, chicken, and
fish by-products or pulp will contain beet pulp. The beet
pulp is used to slow the food down in the dogs system. This
allows more nutrition to absorb into the body. You are also
holding the stool which contains toxins. This can cause the
toxins to build in your dogs system. The toxins can build
causing issues with the body the same way it does for us humans.
A dog’s natural diet in the wild does not contain beet
pulp. As we all know, dog with natural diets live longer,
healthier, and happier lives.
The Protein in the Martins K9 Formula is 22%. Mother’s
milk is 22%. If you were to average out the protein sources
in the wild, (duck, pigs, deer, gazelles, geese, etc) you
will find the protein averages out to 22%. Marty made his
protein 22% because nature’s protein is 22%. Hi protein
in puppy foods can cause bone density issues. Your vet will
tell you to put your dog on adult dog food to slow the growth
down. Why were you rushing the grouwth to begin with?
If you rush the growth of your dog, he will eat more food.
If he eats more food, you will buy more food. The food company
makes more money while you have an unnecessary vet bill and
a dog in pain.
Puppies in the wild eat the same food as the adults and grow
to be as healthy. We feel puppy food is a marketing strategy
to target your wallet.
